I'm Catreece, founder of Written in Faith — a brand built from a defining moment in my life. After years of being a successful, well-loved bartender, I realized I was living without passion or purpose. I wanted more: more meaning, more fulfillment, more time with my three daughters. So I walked away from the bar with no plan except a commitment to discover what God truly had for me.
In that quiet season, I returned to my foundation: scripture. Raised in the church, I had always known the Word, but reading it for myself in a time of uncertainty changed everything. Verses began to stand out, speak to me, and guide me. I wrote them down to study and remember — and those handwritten notes became the first seeds of Written in Faith.
What started as personal study grew into colorful cards, magnets, and bookmarks that encouraged my family — and soon, others. After earning my degree in creative writing and searching for a career that aligned with my purpose, I realized the truth: my purpose was already in my hands.
At 36, supported by my family and strengthened by faith, I stepped out of fear and launched Written in Faith.
